CII CESD to organise Sustainability Solutions Summit & Exhibition in New Delhi on 25th-26th November, 2011

CII ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development is organising the sixth addition of one-of- its –kind conference with an interesting mix of stake-holders to discuss how sustainability by itself would involve in the future and affect them. The two day event called Sustainability Solutions: Summit & Exhibition at The Lalit Hotel, New Delhi on 25th -26th November, 2011 will explore challenges, opportunities, and strategies for bringing sustainability solutions to Indian Businesses. 

Chief Guests for the Summit includes prominent leaders, Mr. Jayanthi Natrajan; Minister of State for Environment and Forests and Dr. Veerappa Molly; Union Minster for Corporate Affairs.

The summit will be a place for dialogue in a conference style. It will focus on significant topics such as corporate governance, vision of green economy, sustainable and inclusive innovation and much more. The participants’ annual summit will be a right blend of large, medium, small and micro organisations, representing for profits, not for profits cooperatives and federations, private, public, NGOs and social entrepreneurs.

The Sustainability Summit & Exhibition underscore the fact that, with the correct approach, sustainability is achievable. Following the success of the previous summits, the Sustainability Solutions: Summit & Exhibition, packs more substance by combining an exhibition to the conference for the first time. The exhibition would provide an excellent opportunity for the participants to exhibit their success stories and to present what a sustainable world would be in future.

This is the first time the summit will be organising parallel sessions on subjects such as Green Economy, New Energy Revolution, Business Model Innovation, Speed Dating for 4BN etc. Panel discussions and parallel session will witness keynote speakers such as Mr. Suresh P Prabhu; Chairperson, Council for Energy, Environment & Water, Mr. Sudhir Mittal, Additional Secretary; Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Anil Sardana; Managing Director, Tata Power Ltd., Dr. S Y Quraishi; Chief Election Commissioner of India and many more.
